Home Energy Reduction CIC’s primary role is to raise awareness of the importance of understanding air tightness in existing homes. A key element of this role is to facilitate training for third sector organisations delivering projects on energy efficiency and carbon reduction. This includes the delivery of the NOCN accredited Baselining Buildings© training developed by Home Energy Doctor.
The images above show thermal imaging (thermography) used during the Baselining Buildings© training, which reveals where heat — and therefore energy — is being lost through a building’s fabric, helping identify priority areas for improvement.
