Home Energy Reduction CIC aspires to reduce energy use and fuel poverty in UK homes, and the impact of buildings on the natural environment through their carbon impact. Individuals, communities and businesses will benefit from a direct approach to educate and deliver hands-on guidance for substantial energy savings, thereby reducing fuel poverty.
WHAT WE DO
- Reduce levels of fuel poverty and enable the creation of warm, healthy, easy-to-heat homes and community buildings
- Create awareness with householders on what makes a home healthy and easier to heat
- Educate and influence householders, across all tenures
- Work with community building custodians and within the existing supply chain to instil best practice
- Help communities and individuals understand how their homes perform, to reduce the impact of climate change on comfort and fuel costs
